Spellings-look at your spelling lists and also research on the internet or use a dictionary to find words that end with 'ible', 'able', 'ibly' and 'ably' Writing- Include 8 of your chosen spellings in a well punctuated sentence.
Key Stage 2 SATs Question book- p40-41 Mixed Practice and pages 52-54 Vocabulary (Prefixes, suffixes,word families, synonyms and antonyms)
Reading- Log onto Scholastic learning Zone- use the password you were provided with: From 'My Zone' Click 'Pro Reading Library', then in the blue panel in the centre, click on the 'Books' icon. Select online reading books from here (this works in the same way as a kindle). You don't have to read all the book in one go (just note down the page number so you can continue next time you log in. When you have read a book try the quiz.
Oak Academy Literacy- There are 5 online lessons based on newspapers. Please attempt some/all of these lessons that involve comprehension, using quotes and writing a newspaper report.

BBC Bitesize Try out the maths lessons dates 22nd- 26th June. These lessons are all about shapes: area, perimeter, triangles, parallelograms, volume of cubes and cuboids.

Please study the work of the French artist Paul Cezanne (I've attached a link to some of his work, but try to do your own research too). He was famous for his 'still life' paintings- especially of fruit, but also his portraits and landscapes. Choose one of his paintings to reproduce or try to create your own painting in his style- maybe by arranging a bowl of fruit to draw or paint. |
