We had a great week in school last week, welcoming back lots of Year 5 pupils for the first time. It was great to see you all.
I hope the rest of you are keeping well and staying safe too.
This week's planning is a little different. I want you to read the attached document which is about a mini-project I would like you to attempt this week. It involves designing your own 'Theme Park'. Read the attached document carefully and try to complete as many of the tasks associated with this as you can.
As well as this, if you get time, you could also attempt some of the Bitesize lessons and the Oak Academy lessons detailed below:
Year 5 Maths Lessons: Angles and Regular/irregular polygons (shapes)
Year 5 English: 29th June- Using humour in adverts/brochures, 1st July Using register in posters/leaflets .
(These could help with your theme park project)
Year 6 Maths:Ratio lessons (we have been doing this in school with Year 6). 29th June- 2nd July (4 lessons)
Year 6 English: Lessons from 1st and 2nd July on leaflets- this will help with your Theme park project
Oak Academy- there are a series of PSHE lessons for you to try this week (same lessons for Yr5 and Yr6). Your country needs you, Prime Minister's questions, Do you want to be a hero, Black Lives Matters, George Floyd, Circle of live-gone but not forgotten. You might find these topical lessons interesting if you have been watching the news recently.
Have a good week. Take care everyone.
